The Forensic Drone Bio 3.0 is a biometrically secure USB 3.0 portable hard drive with real-time AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption. With secure fingerprint access you can unlock the drive with just the swipe of your finger. The Bio’s software free design works on any operating system, including PC, Mac or Linux. And with USB 3.0 data transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps you can now access your data up to 10 X faster than USB 2.0

Utilizes Military Grade FIPS PUB 197 Validated Encryption Algorithm
Real-time 256-bit AES-XTS encryption seamlessly encrypts all data on the drive, protecting the drive even if it is removed from it’s casing.

Biometric Fingerprint Access
Once registered, just swipe your finger on the sensor for access to your files. Up to five fingerprint profiles can be stored and can be accessed without software on the host system. 

The Forensic Drone Bio’s unique Embedded Enrollment keeps all fingerprint enrollment and authentication within the Forensic Drone Bio circuitry, independent of the host system. While other biometric drives use a CD emulation module or software on the host system for fingerprint enrollment, the Forensic Drone Bio requires no software, enabling it to be used on any USB host regardless of OS. 

The fingerprint sensor uses an Advanced live layer imaging technology to provide the most accurate fingerprint image possible, using a patented dual-plate active pixel design, superior to competitors that use only a single passive pixel design. The sensor uses three different sensing methods that penetrate outer layers of skin to read live layers under the skin (Anti-spoofing protection), meeting the stringent image quality requirements of NIST and the FBI, something that no other silicon fingerprint sensor has achieved.
